礦區(qū)主要由東西向壓性斷層及與之伴生的近南北向張性斷裂、北東和北西向扭性斷層組成。區(qū)內(nèi)褶皺構(gòu)造主要有金廠峪復(fù)背斜及崔堡子復(fù)向斜，并伴有次一級小的背、向斜。金廠峪金礦床位于前述的復(fù)背斜軸部。

控礦構(gòu)造以北北東向壓扭性斷裂最發(fā)育，表現(xiàn)形式為片巖帶或片理化帶。礦區(qū)內(nèi)共有6條，片巖帶的形態(tài)和交匯部位往往是控制單個礦體的主要構(gòu)造。

礦區(qū)含金復(fù)脈帶是由石英脈、鈉長石英脈、鈉長石脈、次生石英巖等斷續(xù)分布于片巖帶中。長1500m、寬460～900m，在本礦床6個復(fù)脈帶中共圈出大小16個工業(yè)礦體。礦體多集中于Ⅱ、Ⅲ、Ⅳ帶中。以Ⅱ2、Ⅲ3、Ⅳ4礦體最富，Ⅱ5規(guī)模最大。金礦平均品位10.6g/t。

Long 1500m, width of 460 ~ 900m, in the 6 mineral deposits Fumai the circle size of 16 industrial orebody. The ore bodies are concentrated in the middle of the second, third and fourth. The ore bodies of 2, 3, 5 and 4 are the most abundant, and the second is the largest. Gold average grade 10.6g/t.
